Paul McClelland is the principal of PM Custom.

In Dec of 2007 I quit my job as a designer/fabricator of heavy construction hydraulic drilling equipment to come back to working more artistically building studio furniture.

It’s been an interesting year as the economy has made it very challenging. With one very big project under my belt, I’ve been concentrating on getting some ideas turned into “stuff” and I’ve been having a great time. 

I’ve been working hard on a line of terrazzo based products that I started working on for a show that was in October. As things progress I’ll be adding the new items to the portfolio section. Check back now and again to see what’s new. Check the journal too to see the progress of things! If you will, please leave comments as I really appreciated feed back.

In the past I have worked for notable Miami architects and designers such as Dennis Jenkins of Dennis Jenkins Associates, Morgorie Goldman of Piano Nobile, and John Samuels of Jonny Boyd. I provided both custom one off fabrication of award winning furniture and design input into lines of high selling custom designer stuff. 

I enjoy working directly with clients trying to capture their visions into working objects, but what I really like doing is coming to the studio to build my ideas.
